Transfer paper..what is that all about? i saw it one day at a Crafts Store....do you literally print a graphic using your home printer. and then Iron it on to a shirt?

In the simplest explanation, sublimation is using a modified inkjet printer (one that accepts bulk ink systems) and special ink. You print the image much like you would a normal inkjet transfer onto sublimation paper, you then apply this using heat to any 100% Polyester fabric and it chemically adheres to the fabric. You can also use it for many other applications including ceramic mugs and mousepads.

Yes you can, but I wouldn't recommend this for any commercial applications, because the quality is not very high.
But if it was just for you or family (and only a simple one or two time use shirt) you shouldn't have a problem.
