In the simplest explanation, sublimation is using a modified inkjet printer (one that accepts bulk ink systems) and special ink. You print the image much like you would a normal inkjet transfer onto sublimation paper, you then apply this using heat to any 100% Polyester fabric and it chemically adheres to the fabric. You can also use it for many other applications including ceramic mugs and mousepads.

Like I said this was just a very simple explanation. I reccommend you doing a search on the forum, there are loads of posts already on this topic.

Good luck!

Yes you can, but I wouldn't recommend this for any commercial applications, because the quality is not very high.

But if it was just for you or family (and only a simple one or two time use shirt) you shouldn't have a problem.

Would it be decent enough to just make a example shirt to take a pic of someone wearing it?
