Default What Process Was Used On This Shirt????

This is A QuikSilver Limited Edition T-shirt. The shirt has been treated with dye and wash Techniques but what I was wondering is how they printed The Palms on it... It doesn't quite feel like a screen print but I'm no Pro...any idea????

If it has no feel, it could have just be screened with waterbased ink.

Judging by the color of the shirt and the color of the inks I would guess it was plain ole' waterbase printing... They could have discharged the colors, but with that light of a shirtcolor.... I doubt it!

What do you mean by discharging the colors?

When you are evaluating a design on the printing method and you decide waterbase is the best method to reach the clients expectations then you must decide to print with standard waterbase or discharge waterbase inks. Typically standard waterbase is used with lighter colored tees and discharge is used for darker colored tees. When you discharge you are actually re-dying the shirt fibers to your desired color, therefore; giving you the color you want and the soft vintage feel as well. Please go to **** for a few discharged examples!

looks like the light tan color is the natural cotton color and would suggest straight discharge. the green is transparent water base, color has been shifted by the tan shirt to make that weird green. no hand will be detected using these processes. a very easy shirt to print. flirteegirl, what is it you would like to learn, screen printing? do you design? stan
