Looks good, and now I think your name is just Surplus again.
Putting the logo on the sleeve does a nice job of opening the front up for the additional design. Looks great and I also like the camo colors on black. Nice.
dont do the skull and wings thing, its played out, everyone and there momma does that, even i have a skull in my avatar, that should be enough to tell you thats its over used. the only reason i use it was because i actually worked on a ship before, but i wasnt a real pirate rrrrr.
Yeah the skulls and wings are played out....yet that stuff sells...and attracts that genre of ppl you're aiming your wear to.
i agree with you somewhat, but skaters know whats up. the skull and wing thing is for the general population that just wears what everybody else is wearing. skaters are more hardcore than that. the skull and wings would be more for the posers if you know what i mean.

So are the skaters into the army and grenade things? Looks so military or paintballer to me...
I'd say that in the context of history, it is untested.
The reason country joe was wearing military clothing was as a statement. In the next few year, either there will be an unpopular war or the military will be laying off. After the Vietnam war that surplus boomed.
If history is to repeat itself, now would be about the time that a military motif in the context of "surplus" would have its iconic appeal.
How will skateboarders react? Heck, i can't tell you how skateboarders will react to Andrew Reynolds wearing a military shirt and selling wallets for nixon in this months issue of transworld skateboarding (dec-page 83). Back when country joe was singing, Nixon was a president.
The designs are going need to be a lot more outstanding than the skull and logo only shirt. It might be a good idea to distance yourself from the camo look of paintballers.
The fact that the market does not appear to already be filled is a nice place to start.
fred
