Hey everyone, I have designed our logo for our clothing company, and vectored it so i can use it on a neck tag of a tshirt. When i submitted it to the label people, they sent me back a picture of the tag sewn out with the graphic on it, however, it seems to look scrunched up and not clean and clear.
Is there any recommendations as to what i can do to make it look better, by editing the .ai file and changing certain things? I am no graphic designer of stature, but i rather do it myself if i can, since i started myself on this.
Thanks Again,
Constantine

If you are able to size it to your label and print it cleanly in Illustrator, then the label company may be having a glitch on their end opening the file correctly.
As everyone else suggested, upload us a picture and give us details on how you converted your design to vector.
Here's is the graphic, in both .png and .ai format.
[edit] I cant upload the .ai file since its not supported. But its the same thing just in adobe illustrator, has been vectored.
I have also sent them ones with no background, but sent this one as well to show them how i want the tag to look like(on a black tag).
I think i might have to send them another file, with an enlarged logo since it seems too small when on a tag. The size of the tag is 2'' by 3'' once folded.

It looks a little like they may have reduced the width without reducing the height. That gives a smooshed look if both the height and the width are not reduced equally.

any time you take a square and reduce to a rectangle, you get what BobbieLee calls smooshed look..So to keep the image as you started..keep the tag square...by the way, didn't you spell decoration wrong..looks like it is 'decoretion'
To Charles: That was a typo on their part, and they are correcting it free of charge.
To BobbyLee: Yes, i do agree with you on that. Im hoping for a sollution..
To David: Not at all. It is ONCE FOLDED with a 5/8 inch seam allowance. So it is wider than longer.

Just a side note decoration looks misspelled. It looks to me like Decoretion when it should be Decoration. I do not have my glasses and the image is small but just to be safe I would check the spelling.
Hey there Veedub, Yes its misspelled, but like i said, that was the tag companies fault, and they are correcting the typo free of charge.
David, i agree with you that the logo can be widened, im just not sure why they made it less wide. Hopefully this will get resolved, but everytime there is a change it costs us 25 bucks. But better make it the way we want it rather than save money and not be proud of the tags, since i am getting 500 of them.
I might consider sending them the laurel wreath with the AW as one vectored graphic file, and then the swirls with Apollon Wear on another file, it might make it easier for them.
Thanks Again,
Constantine
