Default How do I do this?

So I am designing my on line of shirts and have done all of the art my self so I have a couple questions.

1. There is shading involved in my art how do i do that with Screen printing?

2. What do I have to do to get it ready to make a screen I have heard of half tones I have no idea what that is?

3. How do i do foil as well?

I know that I am an amatuer so I would apreciate any help possible thank you!

you have to get your artwork input into a computer. if you have drawn your image on paper then you'd scan that into photoshop. then make whatever adjustments that you feel necessary. you could get that 'vintage or distressed look' through one of the filters provided with the program (or a combination of).

this sounds like you should talk to your local screenprinter to find out exactly what he'd need as far as file type etc.

you could attempt this as a beginner but i'd want to learn the proper way of doing this. hence ask to hang out when they process your screen and print the shirts. -peace.
