Default Is double-stitching necessary at shoulder?

Hi,

I'm new in t-shirt business. My supplier just sent me some tee samples that are 100% cotton, on the shoulders of tee are single-stitiched. I noticed some t-shirts have double stitching at shoulders, any nice soul can share with me is double-stitching at shoulder necessary for 100% cotton fabric?

Thanks,
Joan

NO joan i dont think there is anything necessary about the shirt and the fabric its mostly welcomed to be 100% cotton but it could be 50% as well its not a prob...

but i think the most important thing about a shirt that its not stretch too much i dont prefer the body fit shirts esp with transfers on its best to use slim or normal fit tees so the printings would be more comfortable to ur customers ...

the double-stitching thing i love it esp with soulder coat but its hard to find unlabeled tees with that high quality feature..if u found it buy me tons of it
