Hi guys , Im new here. I apologize for asking such a repeated question but.. heres the scenerio. Im in a band and we're releasing our 2nd CD in 8 days. We decided to go all diy this time and make / print everything ourselves which is great, but i've run into a problem with the cover art.
Another member of the band has turned to the dakside and wants to use a full color picture and glue them onto the front of the cd jackets. i am definitely not feeling it and would like to be able to turn it into a series of dots and use only black ink if possible.
I have photoshop and my first thought was to grayscale it than bitmap it, but i really don't know much about that kind of stuff. is that right? i read up on it a bit and saw you should use 230 or better with the screen. i used diffusion dither . not sure what to set the dpi, if im even heading in the right direction.
heres the image - its gonna be on a cd jacket so its only gonna be 3 or 4 inches big. also is a picture of the shirt design. The image we used was already dotted or halftoned or whatever its called

(pay no mind to the cheesy fonts)
any help would be awesome.
