Default Interlocking rings

I was wondering what is the easiest way to interlock rings similar to the olympic logo? Is there an easier way to do it other than drawing in the overlapping color by hand? Thanks for the help.......

Default Re: Interlocking rings

I would do 2 rings of each color directly on top of each other. The first one would be the bottom layer. The second, I would erase half, and bring it in front of the next color. Hard to explain, but fairly simple to do.

easy way would be to set up each ring with the colors you want. After that select all objects and group. The go to your pathfinder pallette and select the divide option. one that is done simpley go to ungroup and you will be able to take out the sections you dont want and add the ocerallping colors where you want them to be.
