Hi everyone,
I really need help with Corel Draw X3.
Basically the problem is as follows. I purchased a vector pack with t-shirt templates, so the idea is easy right, select your design and paste on the art layer.
The t-shirt pack is to be used in Photoshop. So I import the design from Corel and then drag it to the art layer. The problem is that every time I do this the image /design gets dragged but so does the white background. So inevry t-shirt there is always a white box background around the art work. I have deleted the back ground in Photo Paint, but it still keeps showing up.
Can anyone help please.

What's the file type you are importing, .cdr? What is the file type directly out of the vector pack?

Doesnt bringing it into photoshop render it a raster file? I dont use photoshop but if you are dealing with vector files shouldnt you stay in Corel or AI.?

Not sure I really understand what you are doing, but if you are taking a file from any program into photoshop it will then become a raster/bitmap file with the white box....you can remove the box by using corel paint. go to you tube and search for a video on this. I have seen it there.

Hi, Elsa - Try this:

After you import the template into X3 -

Select All
Ungroup
Select the White Background
Delete
Select All
Group

That should give you the design without the background.
