Default Really basic question

ok total newb question I'm sure, but what dimensions are recommended for my original .psd file when submitting it to a screen printer?
I have looked at several sites guidelines for submitting art and all say "actual size" but I really don't know what dimensions look good on a shirt for a full front or back print.

Can anyone help me?

Thumbs up Re: Really basic question

Maybe you could pull out a shirt you own with the approximate size design and use those measurements . I keep mine under 14" width by 16" heigth .
The size can always be tweaked . You just need an approximate size .
Good luck with it .

I was talking about 12 inches wide, our printer only prints 11 X 17 so we have to work within that. We can print it landscape to get wider than 12" but length is shorter.
