Default just got my Bamboo Fun tablet..

i played around with it last night for about 20 minutes.. i really do need it but i found it a *little* hard to use. i noticed the cursor moves even when the pen tip is NOT touching the tablet. is this normal? i'm assuming so. i wasn't really expecting that at all.

also, i could do without the mouse it came with.. the tablet is a little small (i have the smallest size tablet) to maneuver that huge mouse around on.

Yes, it is normal for the cursor to follow the tip of the pen.

Just keep working with it, it takes some getting used to. Once you get used to it you are likely to find it an indispensable tool.

Also, personally, I never use the mouse that came with my tablet. I prefer to keep my tablet positioned directly in front of me, working seems more natural to me this way.

Some people keep their tablets off to the left or right, in the same position you would keep your mouse. I've never understood this, if I were drawing I wouldn't set the paper off to my left...

But to each their own.
