Hey Girlz, sorry I got off the topic of buying software off E-bay, I'm a new guy here, and it just pushed me the wrong way that Daniel would imply I was "stealing" something. If you want completely legal software, you can purchase it from the manufacture,(BEST WAY), go through legit online reseller, or, do some business with one of your local software merchants/ computer store, of course that would cost too much. What one has to understand about purchasing something off E-bay, you are not buying from E-bay, you're buying from who knows who. My software, in my original reply came from Amazon, not a reseller, so if's there's problem, it falls back to Amazon. Corel sells the full version of X4 for somewhere around $400 bucks, if you can get it for less than a hundred, what does that tell ya? Bottom line, when one buys something from E-bay, it is "Caveat Emptor". Some may not understand this, or be able to spell it. I would like to know how many times one of the software cops, have downloaded something from brands of the world, or logos 101, or a stock photo site, etc., and used it in their design, without paying the appropriate royalties to the company, or individual who owns the rights, that is also stealing.

Thanks, KH, thanks for your post, and np. For me, I do understand that buying on Ebay is a roll of the dice. Lol. That's why I was trying to better my odds by asking if anyone on the forum Has bought this on Ebay and made out well. I was trying to weed out some baddies, and lock in on a good seller. The deal is done, we'll see what I get, but it's a gamble for sure. It's great when you actually get a bonafide deal on there. I guess that's what keeps me going back.

Thanks again for your post, and from what I've seen on the forum, opinions on how stringently to adhere to infringement laws varies widely. I just try to do my thing, I have my own opinion, and if someone doesn't agree with it, well, at least we know which group we belong to. As for me, I do want to get a FV, totally legit, but if I can get a deal on it, I'd like that, too. Hopefully, I didn't get burned. Best regards.

I bought mine off of ebay ...and registered it.
also created an account with corel.

I purchased a sealed full version of X3 last year on ebay for $96 including shipping. Works great and I've had no problems.

Hey Mrs. B., I was watching that one, and missed the last auction they had at that price. They went up to $125 now, ouch, from that price. ~fingers crossed~ I hope it goes well with this other seller, thank you for posting.
