[Freehand] - what medium should my final drafts be in?

Question what medium should my final drafts be in?

I've been doing lots of designs and i wondered is it alright that i do thm in pencil and present those to the printer or should they be done in ink? i wish i could show you some samples but my scanner is acting up sry.

ink... always

its much easier to scan an ink rendering than a pencil one...
