Outlined text?
Hello
I've spoken with a screen printer about printing some artwork on some shirts.
She told me, that all my text need to be outlined, else they couldn't print it.
This may sound very noobed, but i'm unsure what she means with outlined text, and when i ask her to specify, she just says outlined as outlined text,.
So can anybody explain me further, what the method with outlining text for printing?
Greetings.

Re: Outlined text? You need to convert your text to a shape. What program did you do your design in?
If you are using Illustrator, click on your text go to Object -> Expand. The reason screen printers tell you this is because they may not be using the same program as you and they may not have the same font you are using.

Re: Outlined text? I agree with Tim, however, she could have explained it a lot better to you. Sounds like she didnt really know either.
