Can artwork from Illustrator be imported into Corel? I have a customer who has it done in Illustrator, but I have Corel and Photoshop. I don't want to redo everything. What do I need to do?

convert to curves.... save as a .eps and try it

A Perfect Pixel

Have them save it as Adobe Illustrator 10 EPS and you should be able to open it

I open Illustrator files all the time in CorelDraw, just try opening the file.

Crappers... didnt realize you didnt have Illustrator...... well anyways, this might help others that have Illo

Just a small note:
Usage of Brushes in Illustrator. - Avoid excess stuff during import
Special Clipboard Formats Available
Choosing Adobe Illustrator will import the original lines drawn CLOSED along with the Brush Shape, meaning there's extra removal of objects.

Choose Encapsulated Poscript and the will not be there.

use wireframe during import and expect to ungroup the goods coming in.

PDF import works too.

Actually, my son got to playing around with it in Corel and ended up going into the bitmaps tab and doing an outline trace, then dropping spot colors into the areas. That finally did the trick.

I truly appreciate all of your help. I seem to learn a lot more about these programs every day, but it seems like it's never enough. I will keep plugging along, though. Thank you again so much.
