Exclamation Affliction, Ed Hardy, Ministry of Ink, etc, how to design

I would like to start a line like Affliction, Ed Hardy, Ministry of Ink, etc. How would I go about doing deigns somewhat like theres but not copying them.

Are you a graphic artist? Need to have some talent in design to make a line like theirs. Ed Hardly looks like he just took stock flash art and had cloths printed.
