Default connecting script letters

Ok, I didn't know what to call this post so I made it basic.
Most of you probably already know this but for those that don't, this will save you lots of time and frustration.
Have you ever used scripted fonts and then looked at them in wireframe view. The letters go into each other or have a line in between them where they connect. I used to spend hours getting rid of nodes, adjusting lines and whatever else I had to do to get rid of those extra lines so the word became one.
While on vacation, inbetween wakeboarding sessions, I played around with some designs for my vinyl cutter using Ballpark font. Basically all you have to do is go to ARRANGE, SHAPING, and WELD. That's it. I was so excited when I realized this because it now saves me a ton of time. Even the tails I attach when doing designs for cheer squads get attached with no problems.
Anyway, like I said, it's so easy many of you probably already knew this, but for those who didn't, hope this helps you.

Yep, you can find a lot of tips and tricks in all kinds of places, and some you find by just trying the different dockers and buttons in your spare time.

Can I ask what the CD contained from Stahl's. I've been looking for an easy way to quickly get this stuff done.

Anyway, does the software have a cut by color feature? When I take my design from Corel to SignCut X2 for my Copam cutter, I can click a button and it separates the two colors. I'm not sure what you mean by bubble effect. Do you have a photo you can post as an example?

We cut directly out of Corel. Have you tried that or look for a driver for your cutter that can do that.

Thanks Rafael

I bought the entire bundle from Advanced Artist, but it's always nice to get the free video's when you find them. You can also find a bunch of tutorials in youtube.

That's great info for me because I'm new to Corel Draw. Thanks! In Adobe Illustrator I do the same thing (after creating outlines from the script font) by using the Pathfinder/Combine:/Unite tool.

It contains the player name and number layouts, fonts that they use to do there layout, graphics like mascots. It's really a neat CD, anyone that does a lot of the player name and numbers this is well worth it.

Is it for sale on the Stahl's web site, or do you have to buy something else to get it.

You can buy it alone, don't remember the price but I have found it very helpful. I had 7 player name/numbers done and cut in about 15min after I figured out how to reduce the names to 2".
