You are probably going to want to put some more details about which printer you have, which ink you are printing and if you have done anything to your Corel color management. That might help people give you better advice.

It does sound like you colors might be out of gamut. Just because the colors look good on a monitor (which can show a much wider range of colors) and does not mean that it will automatically print the same. There are some tricks that people use to get their color better. But we would need to know the answers above before making any recommendations.

Hope you figure it out soon.

I have an Epson C88 printer and I use the standard epson ink (should I be using something different). I new with printing my own transfers and so I haven't changed anything in Corel X3.

Kimmie,
I don't know the answer but I think what you are talking about are the actual colors in CorelDraw. They've always been "off" to me. I've been using since V3. I usually export my Corel file to a .psd and print from Photoshop. I have much better color control there. It is an extra step but it's just part of the process now.

Also, depending on which paper you're using, sometimes the photos look dull on paper but once you put them on the shirt they look great.

Also a monitor is showing colors in RGB and usually printers print in cmyk so the color space is different. Alot of times a color you will see in rgb color space looks different when printed in cmyk. One thing you can do is print out a color cmyk color chart and you can look at that to see what color you want to use and then use the color from the chart that you printed. That way even if it looks different on the screen you will have an accurate printed color chart to match your colors. I hope I didnt confuse you You can also change the color space to cmyk on your screen in corel draw and it will look the same as it prints.
