Default Multi-layer image issues (Corel/Illustrator)

So I typically prefer to use CorelDraw, although have Illustrator, depending on my needs.

My use is for vinyl cutting.

Example. I have a multi layered graphic (all one color) and layers overlap each other.

This means by default all of these outlines will cut on my vinyl cutter. Which I do not want, as cut lines will show up within my design due to the overlapping.

Is there a way to "flatten" or combine all of my layers so that the outline of my vector is just around the positive visible image?

I ended up having to use my cutting software, turn my vector back to a bitmap and then use a "outline trace" function which completely goes against the idea of using a vector.

Cheers to any advice.

EDIT: Figured this out.. the weld tool did the job.
