Default How do I make this vinyl ready?

I have been trying to figure out how to edit this image so that it is vinyl ready (black and white). I want to know how to flatten the image so that nothing behind what is seen will be cut. Any help would be appreciated.

You have to ungroup and break apart the vectors then select overlaping pieces and join them using the weld tool.

Thanks... the image was good enough to turn into a bitmap and then used CorelTrace. But thanks again I will use that info in the future.

That's a good way with black & white line art... not so good when there are colors and gradients!

Why is it that when I go to weld two things together they converge to one color the same as when I combine?
