Red face Trying to vector a simple Maltese cross

OK, newbie here just dabbing in vinyl cutting and T-Shirts. I am trying to get a Maltese cross to convert to vector, have tried several different ways and every way makes it look worse then I started. I tried looking for a Maltese cross vector but have been unlucky so far, I am doing this for my Local Volunteer fire Dept which I serve on to try and save a little cash for us. Any tips and help would be greatly welcomed, This is all not for profit FYI.
Thanks,
Scott

istockphoto

but youhave to use your bezier pen tool to draw the outline. When you get good with that tool you can probably get it done in 10-15 minutes or less. Learn what the different nodes do, and how to manipulate them.

Its on the way. I have only used it for print, but converted so that it can be cut in Vinyl.

Search in Best Brands of the World - vector logos, brand, logo, logotype, photos you'll find what you're looking for there

I decided last year that using one of the online vector conversion service companies was well worth the small amount of money it cost me. For $15 to $25, I've been able to convert a graphic to vector using someone like RIPTAW Graphics. Fast turnaround and let's me work on other things. In most cases, I am able to pass the costs on. I understand in your case that it's a volunteer thing. But your time is worth something too.
