Re: Transparent items in Illustrator One of the problems with transparent objects, is that they were introduced into programs, without a lot of printers being able to handle them. One big problem, is when you use spot colors. Transparency, shadows, glows and such are trickier to deal with.
If your printer can take Photoshop (or raster) images, I would supply them with those. There are two ways to do that. One, export the file from Illustrator as a raster image. Two, when you are done, open the file in Photoshop and save it out. |
