Default How do I make polka dots using Corel?

I have a customer who wants a graphic with bold letters and a purple polka dot fill.

Will someone please tell me how I make this happen using Corel? I have tried using the 2-color fill option, but the dots are too large.

The attached image was created by the customer using Word. You may or may not be able to view the dots, but I promise they are there!

Thanks,
Shelly

Go to the paint bucket on the left hand side, select pattern fill. You can then pick the size and color.

Thanks for your help. I tried this option and it does work, but, I need to make the dots smaller. The smallest Corel will allow is 0.1. Is there another option?

You could use the ellipse tool, hold down control and draw a circle. Then go to the top and enter the size you want. I was able to make one .001. then use control d to make as many as you want. Pick your colors before you dup. then place them by hand.

you can still use the pattern fill - just make your text large enough to get the dots to the desired size, then re-size the entire thing down to the dimension you need

This method also works, but I believe the text needs to be converted to curves before the polka dots scale appropriately (also the "Transform Fill with object" needs to be checked of course).
