Hi!
In CorelDraw its call a FOUNTAIN FILL TOOL. Its in the Fill Tool panel on the vertical left panel in CorelDraw. Or you can press F 11.
Please play around with it and use Help File in Coreldraw to understand better. Any question, you can drop in forum.

Thank you for your input Artz but I always try Corel Help before reaching out to the forum commuity. I was working on it for many, many hours and can't seem to get it right. I no there are many ways you can do things in corel and I was hoping someone had a very easy way to get this done. I have to have this to the client by Thursday so any help will b e greatly appreciated.

I included a sample of what I am trying to do. The word I am usisng in PROWAX and the colors go from green, blue to black.

How is this done?

did you look at the fountain fill button like srtz says??

Select your text, hit the f11 key, Select "custom", then use the bar to build your custom fill. Select the little squares on the ends just above the gradient bar, then pick the color you want then spot to be. double click anywhere in there to add another color (or twenty)... slide them around to get the gradient you want.

All this is in the HELP... search for fountain fills then custom.

Another tip... hit the PLUS symbol to save the custom color and you can use it anytime on other jobs.

Did you read my post??????

The problem I am having is with the gradient but thanks for the help even thought it seems like you felt my question was a bother to you. I'll never post again if all the responses are like this. Obviously the help section was not clear otherwise i would not have reached out for help.

I'll figure it out or if i have to pay a shop to do it for me.

The reason everyone keeps going back to the gradients and help is due to the vagueness of your problem. I understand you know in your mind what you want, but cannot get that result from the program. There are a few different things that you have to play around with in the gradients to get a satisfying result. Sometimes it may be best to use the Interactive fill tool to get the edge padding and everything correct. The image you posted looks to be more like a 2 color gradient than a multicolor, so I'm unsure if it's the best example.

I've included three samples illustrating different gradient effects similar to what you have provided a sample of, as well as to what you asked your end result look like. If none of them meet your needs, then please spend some time describing what you're trying to achieve with the vision in your mind so that we can help.

People are here to either help, or to get help. Sometimes a snide comment might be made, or something may be taken in the wrong way, but you should never take offense when you are the one asking for help, because oftentimes it will dissuade others from helping you.

Sample 1:
Two color gradient, Orange to Purple

Sample 2:
Three color gradient, Green to Cyan @ 50% (figured you wanted a brighter blue), to Black

Sample 3:
Four color gradient, Green to Cyan @ 45%, Cyan to Blue (which looks more like a purple on my screen, hope it's like that on your's) @ 60%, and finally Blue to Black

Sample 4:
Not a gradient, rather three rectangles filled with the Green, Cyan, and Black, grouped together, then placed inside the text object. Top image the view inside the object.

Hope that helps!

sheesh, Katrina...

You have a pretty thin skin to interpret what I said as criticism. Artz told you to use the Fountain Fill Tool.
Then I posted more detailed instructions AND the key words to search for in the HELP. What exactly is it you are missing??

You say:

Quote:
The problem I am having is with the gradient
WHAT problem with the gradient? We told you how to do it... what is it you don't get?

It IS a bother to take time to write posts trying to help folks that can't be bothered to try and help themselves.

Take your prozac and try again tomorrow.
