Default CorelDraw OEM

Ok Like I said In my Intro,
I'm new to Tee designing am a draftsman by trade. I am looking to buy CorelDraw X3
cheap! I saw that someone had a OEM version, no manual, just the disk and key.
For $95.00 Is this a good idea?
I'm not sure if I will be able to pick up CorelDraw so I didn't want to pay alot.

that wouldn't come with tech support and if you are worried about picking it up then i would just bite the bullet and get it in the full version....that is what i am looking into as we speak....found it on cheapsoftwear.com | Cheap Software | Cheap Accounting Software | Office 2003 | Microsoft PowerPoint

X4 is the current version, I would expect an older one to be heavily discounted. You should check and ensure that the OEM includes the visual basic modules (so you can run 3rd party apps like the advanced artist comp generator)

OEM versions come without printed material and do not support VBA for macros or plug ins. They are also not upgradeable.

That's the best thing to do in the long run. Don't skimp on your tools!

The AA Comp Generator is a T-Shirt Design plug in... go to their web site to check it out.

The Roland GX24 has a macro plug in for Cut Studio. So yes..... if you want to be able to cut directly from Corel to Cut Studio you will need a full version.

There is a "However"..... I am using Corel X3. My understanding is that the X4 version in student/teacher supports VBA. It is restricted to non-commercial use though.

I don't believe the CutStudio plug-in works with X4, the documentation I saw only said 10 through X3? I'd check before buying...
