what do you guys do with all your empty ink cartridges. i have an epson r1800 with fast ink, & a couple of c88's, i go through cartridges like a mad man some times. can you recycle them, or trade them in. i have a pile of them sitting in my shop, just wondering if they are worth anything. i know some cartridges can be turned in, but im not sure about epson ones.

Sorry amp, this might not work for you but since you mentioned it....

Recycling Program

has a program for Epson 110/220's & Roland 220/440's.

Might help others out.

Some of the Office supply stores have recyle programs. I think they even give some kind of discount on cartridge purchases as well.

At least for the C88, this thread might be useful for you. It's on re-fill carts, which it sounds like you could save a bundle on ink. If you go throught that much ink, you're probably a candidate for cis, but if you don't want to face the expense of cis yet, this set of re-fill carts with the ink is similar in price to a full set of OEM Durabrites. Here's a link to a great thread with pricing and ounces, etc. Good luck to you. (I toss mine, is that bad?)
