Default Coreldraw x4 to adobe Photoshop help please

Alright everyone... Im in need of some help.

I design in coreldraw x4, and the manufacturers that I am having print for me use Adobe Photoshop....

What file type should I save or export my files as before I send them??
Im deathly afraid of pixelation, loss of quality, or change in size.....Sooooooo

I need them to remain vectors and in layers (to separate colors) correct???
THANK YOU!!!!!

Hi

I have just joined the forum. In Coreldraw, use layers to do your artwork. Open Object Manager in CDR and make new layers for all your artwork. When finished, select all and export to PSD, and in eport dialogue box, click to maintain layers and transparent background. When you open this in PSD, all layers will be present.

Yeah but photoshop doesnt uses vectors it will raster it when it imports it. I suggest before importing it into photoshop to make sure you have your file to the correct size you need it. Also when importing choose a high res so the "stairstepping" effect of the pixels will be minimal. It may be thought of as excessive but I like 20/cm(200/mm) res.
