Default Dark Or Light ?

I know this question sounds stupid, but I keep hearing about using the correct transfers for lights and darks. I assume you're referring to the color of the shirt (light/dark). I have been using Hotmark 70. I notice some colors have a white backing and some are the same color all the way through. If I stay with that brand for now can, all of the colors be used on a white shirt for instance? I have red, white, light blue, and yellow. Only the light blue is the same color on both sides. The others are all white on the side that faces the shirt. Please explain. Thanks in advance!

I really don't understand your question... I use hotmark 70, and use all the colors on light and dark garment with no problems.

Maybe it is the pre-printed transfers that I read about that have to be specifally for lights or darks. I just dumped a few Tees that I made for myself in the washer to see how they fare. I assume from all that I have read that they will do just fine. I noticed that Hotmark 70 isn't recomended to be tumble dried. Have you tried that? Even if you tell customers not to do that, I know a lot of people still do.
