I usually pay $15.00 then charge the customer $25.00 and send it out to screenprintingart.com and get them to seperate them for me.

We use www.nittanycreative.com ....they If you send it off during the day when you arrive the next morning it will be done... that runs about 8.00 to do the seps or just vectorize it for you then you can add the colors you want....very good service and SUPER easy to use....good luck !

Have you asked your customer what format the design was created in.

If it was created in layers, ask them to forwarded you the layered file, much easier to separate colors.

This may sound too obvious, but I had a customer who sent a jpeg file that included a photo with graphics and text printed over it, impossible for me to separate. After explaining my problems to her, she mentioned she had the file saved in layers in psd format.

Most customers have no idea what we do to fill their orders.
