Default Burning larger images

I was looking to burn some screens and was wonder if anyone has use this technic,
the image i have is 14x14 inches
i have a basic printer that prints 8.5 x 11 sheets , i was thinking of cutting peices of the original image into 4 sheets of of 8.5x11 and tape them together on the screen and burn, do you guys thing that will work any advise
ireally dont have the fund for a large format printer.. thanks again

I've done that before... 2 8x11 sheets lined up... just use registration marks to line up the sheets and a little overlap of the sheets...

As I type this I'm sticky-taping the two A4 sheets of film together to make a big positive. I use this technique for nearly every one of my designs Maybe one day I should buy a decent printer...
