How about something simple like a long bridge and on one side you have it all dim and gloomy and on the other side something that is bright and cheery!

keep in mind these are kids that dont like school . (the kids that like to fight and be punks). Im pretty sure they wont like to wear a shirt with a yellow brick road.. thats why im asking for help this is hard to come up with something nice/cool they will wear
Re: Need some design ideas/inspiration: "Helping kids"
okay then, assuming you can draw, or at least make silhouettes, how about a cool dude leaning up against the bridge, like cool punks do, and there's a craggly sign at the beginning of the bridge that reads..."get over it."

haha i think this has turned into a question way beyond simple t-shirt design. it kind of seems like you need an idea on how to approach these kids in a way that will be "cool" to them. my suggestion would be to really look into the student bridge program and find what their approach is, then base your design on that.
as far as my personal design ideas for this, since you can't really take the skulls/grunge approach, maybe try a modern vector graphic style. good luck.

Hi!
I like your design. What about making that graphic really big and putting it on the lower side of the shirt, so that half of it is on the back and half is on the front. Or how about something with an all over print. Like a shirt covered with a simple maybe abstract bridge/sun design.
