ok i am trying for about 3 days and nothing i am doing is working so please I NEED HELP ASAP..trying to get logos and into finished art for my artist and for the life of me i can't get the convert to lines and curves at all to come up please please how do i get the jpeg logos into finished art
Jpeg art isnt going to convert to curves until it becomes a vector file. The art needs to be traced and cleaned up. Shoot me the file and I will take a look as mentioned.

This is correct. You beat me to it Moto!! They simply must be vectorized.
I have the mail but cant open your file in Corel or AI. I assume the graphic isnt a vector file. Just shoot me a high resolution jpeg of the art. If in vector form Adobe ill. eps format.
Ok...got it open in Flexi. This art needs to be created in the size you expect it to be printed and saved at 200-300 DPI. This is an image of your logo in white printed within a square black background on a wrinkled sheet of off white paper. To print exactly like it is you are going to need halftone use for all the intricate shading. You need someone or the printer to do color seps.
ok well i sent the person the eps files and she said something about having to convert to curves and lines for it to be finished art so now i am totally at a loss on what your saying i need to do sorry i am new to the corel draw
thanks,

It sound like what you have done is simply scanned an image into your computer (jpeg) and put it into an Corel file and saved it to an eps format. The thing is , what you have is simply an eps file with an embedded jpeg. What you need to do is to trace the original jpeg and convert it to a vector file. I am not sure if Corel 12 does tracing or not since I went from version 9 which doesn't to version X3 which does. Without the artwork being in vector format it will not convert to curves (which should only be required for text).
let me see if i can put my steps and remember what i did
first i imported the jpeg then i did the trace bitmap saved it as a asi file then i opened it back up in corel draw and tried and tried to get the curves and lines still can't saved it as a corel draw file now i have been told it is finished art except it needs "cleaning up" just a little i think if i could figure out how to convert to lines and curves it would be ok, but i can't seem to find that area all the suggestions i have been given don't give me the convert to lines and curves hope this better explains how i am doing this if i am missing a step or two which i think i am please let me know i am getting there with it, but time is crucial as this order has to be ready for a proof by end of the week at the latest

In Corel if you traced the bitmap it becomes a vector image. Go find the icon ARRANGE, its at the top of my page and I am using version 11. Click it and look down the scroll bar for convert to curves. If you need to do node editing and line cleanup, right click on the artwork and and click ungroup. You will then go into wire frame and that is under the view icon. If you have clean vector art I really dont see the point of converting to curves as its already been done by the vector trace. Assuming when you mentioned trace thats what you were talking about.
