Default Cannon i9900 PostScript / RIP Software

I have a Canon i9900 printer. It will print up to 13x17 which is great. However I am having trouble with the whole post script thing... I have yet to be able to print a simple half tone out. I am just trying to make some transpernceies for silk screening and have not had ANY luck. And help would be much appreciated.

Hello, I have a Canon PIXMA Pro9000. It, like yours, is NOT a postscript printer. I use GhostScript and GhostView to output half-tones successfully. From CorelDRAW, print to "device independent postscript". Then open GhostView, select the ps file you created by means of the above and print it. You need to make sure the paper size in all cases (DRAW or PhotoShop, Ghost and your Canon). There's a wealth of information about GhostScript & GhostView on this and other screen printing forums.
