What about using sublimation for this design? A sublimation printer should be able to handle it with no problem.

One company I'd suggest checking out is Sublimation X. I haven't placed an order with them yet, but I was impressed with what I heard and saw while visiting their booth at a recent co-hosted ASI/Stitches Roadshow.

Their website is Welcome to SublimationX !. My contact's name is Ranger. Let me know if you want his direct number and/or email address.

Just a thought.
That's actually what one of the screen printers suggested as well. Dave from Spreading Ink was very helpful in explaining the issues with it and was the most responsive out of the companies I've contacted. He said it would probably be better suited for dye sublimation.

My main worry with dye sub would be the type of garments it would have to go on. Not everyone is a big fan of the polyester type fabric.

Although Vapor Apparel does have a nice fabric that works for dye sub that feels like a regular shirt.

I don't think the problems were the arm seams. I think it was the halftones (fades) in the design that make it hard to do as an all over print. Also doing it on a dark shirt makes it harder.

Yes, can you go ahead and PM me with his contact info. Might be worth looking into. I'll also check with Chris from Vapor Apparel to see if he has any ideas.

sorry guys I've been on vacation, and couldn't access the site...I had internet access but overseas, the forums here were blocked or something....

I'll check a couple of our goto harley printers with this, and see what they can put together...they do all of our black garment all overs.

I'm open to dyesub, dtg , or whatever is easiest/ most cost effective...I think the problem with some of my leads is they, have no problem making a $50 dollar Harley t-shirt....I don't think that'll work that well in this situation....but I'll send out a few emails.

Keep in mind that you cannot DyeSub a dark shirt. It would have to go on a white shirt for DyeSub, unless you wanted to do a full custom DyeSub which would probalby run about $50-$60 per shirt.
