His name was on a trophy for participating. Participants get trophies! Last year I got a medal. I still wear it on occasions, but put it away when my wife got tired of me sleeping with it on. She's just jealous.

Actually, this really bums me out, cause I had originally intended to take Robert's t-shirt and print on the back of it ... "I entered Rodney's 3rd annual design contest, and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!"

Now, I gotta take a picture of the trophy, go into Photoshop, create a bunch of layers, feather the edges, impose Robert's flaming skull in the background shooting fireballs at the trophy, create burnt smoking text effects, blah, blah, blah ... sigh.

LOL, yeah ... Kelly mentioned it earlier in the thread. Now, whenever the subject is brought up ... they just point at me and say, "HE DID IT!!! IT'S ALL HIS FAULT!!!"

OK, that was my last "poor me" post.

Yes, I still get e-mail ... got that fixed the next day, after you mentioned mail was bouncing back when I switched hosts. All better now.

I'm not sure, but after reading the above post, I am sure he gets some form of alcoholic beverages.

That's nice of you to say, Rodney, I thought he did a great job for us. I was trying to cheer him up with that fact.

What we did was.... Gunslinger was our "ghost designer". We emailed drawings of our designs, and Gunslinger brought them to "graphic life" for us. I'm now officially the "Crayola Kid", because I sent him my design in crayola crayons.

We were thinking of possibly doing a thread on the process we used, but weren't sure if there would be any interest in that.

I know I am very flattered and honored by each vote we received. This is a great time to be able to give a big thank you to anyone who voted for #10 (me) or #16 (Mark) - that was so very awesome of you!

If you liked the graphics work, there's the man: ---> Gunslinger <---

You know he's kidding... I really liked my design and Mark really liked the way Mikey was able to reproduce his design into the graphics. Glad to hear that's the last one, Mikey! We have alot to celebrate, I keep telling you that...

Thanks Kelly ... lol, I was milking the poor me, as long as I could.

I have no prob having us document the process, it would be kinda funny. But, since I didn't take notes, it wouldn't be complete (as some of my fav corel guys here have done for us).

I guess since there was some interest in my design, it may be available for sale...

Does this version look better to anyone?

I think the main reason I removed the full print, was because it looked too feminine to me....
same amount of colors.

I think I just deal with to many corporations, and maybe I overthought this one...

but now that I read some of the comments, it might have helped, to unisex it up a bit.

I've contacted a few "all over" screen printers and they either: haven't gotten back to me, are all booked up, or feel the design is too difficult for an all over print.

Any suggestions, Drew?

Maybe if the design was a little smaller and didn't extend over the arm seams it would be easier to print?
