If you would like to showcase your design as an example of your work and offer your design services, you can make a GRAPHIC DESIGNER FOR HIRE post in our T-Shirt Classifieds section of the forums.

This is completely optional.

Please only post there if you want to offer your graphic design services to forum members.

Be sure to include your design entry and contact information as part of your post. If you'd like to include your rates or a link to other examples of your work, this is OK as well. Any questions, just let me know

Can i ask to somebodies who didn`t vote for my design ? What was it you didn`t like ?

Remember also that because someone didn't vote for your design didn't necessarily mean they didn't "like" your design, it could just mean that with the one vote they had, they liked another design better.

Unlike threadless or american idol, this was a different kind of voting process where you can't vote for ALL the designs you liked, you can only pick ONE favorite (more like a political vote

)

That being said, if anybody wants feedback on their design, feel free to post here

but when you have one vote and you choose one design means you liked that one much more that the others

I don't know about "much more" (it could have been just a smidgen more

), but I'll go ahead and offer my constructive criticism:

While your design was artistic and beautiful, I got the feeling that it was a bit too "complicated" for a t-shirt design. I strongly believe in t-shirts as an artistic canvas, however, it's a different kind of artistic medium than a painting or a photograph. I like to call t-shirts "microwave art".

"a moving, meaningful or beautiful message, condensed down to the 3 seconds most people take to look at the front of your shirt."

So, in the case of your design, I just think it took longer than 3 seconds for me to "get" the design. Again, this is just my personal opinion about t-shirts and how the voting worked for me.

While there were many beautiful, well designed t-shirts, I took lots of "quick glances" at the designs and a few of them quickly stuck out at me personally: S11, S13, S22, S3, S16, S4. It took me a while to figure out which one of those would get the one vote.

Again, that's just my view and process

I thought yours was very unique, but I only had one vote, and there was another that I thought that I would like to wear more. You could put this design in a certain niche and have it do well for you, or you could print a hundred and never sell any. It's not that there's anything wrong with your design. It's just a matter of personal preference.

That can be a good thing though when applied the right way. Nobody wants a design that looks like everyone elses.
