Discussion: T-Shirt Forums 3 Year Anniversary T-Shirt Design Extravaganza contest
I don't know what would be involved in setting it up, though. I'm sure Rodney will see this and give us his input and the advantages/disadvantages of it.
I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be possible this year, though. But, you never know what Rodney has up his sleeve!
Yeah, I think it would be fun, too, but like you said, we wait for Rodney to catch up with us. I was really just adding on to Michael's for next year -- if it'll be possible. Could you imagine the scramble rushing around pairing up --- OMGosh, it would probably be a hoot! ~too funny, I bet~.
Anyway.... I had to ask as I have a vision trapped in my head, and lack the design skills to bring it to life like I see it. I'm a benchwarmer this year, but I'll have fun voting.

LOL ... hopefully, not QUITE that cutthroat ... although, I do recall some ancient forum I participated in, that tried to construct something with the members ala Survivor type contest.
Honestly, I didn't expect Rodney to do another one, so soon. I asked about it after the last contest, as we joined after that one had concluded, and I was all gung ho about designing. While I would like to enter this one, we are still scrambling to relocate. Hopefully, one of these nights with a glass of bourbon will inspire something, but the limit to four colors in the design irks me ... VIVA LA DTG!!!
Hmmm ... Rodney would have to eventually chime in here ... but as I was scrubbing around here, I was thinking about it ...
What you "could" do is get someone to play "ghost" designer, and try to bring your design to life. Just as a writer might do that has a great story, but either don't have the time or skills to produce the final product.
While $$$ is always nice to get , I wouldn't know what to do with an freakin' iPOD (I don't understand my cellphone) ... if I need to print 5 or 500 of my "winning" design, I can do it with my own T-Jet 3 (not to sell, of course) ... and I have already stated my stance on the "black" shirt issue (I shall stop posting at 999, save for the lounge - where it doesn't count)
I dunno why Robert started this whole mess ... he knows damn well that, if he gives me a wacky design idea I will whip up and print it the same day!!!

Kelly,
The man makes good sense. That's exactly what I did last year. I had an artist friend that took my explanation and made it a reality! So don't count yourself out!

Haha, that's cool, I'd like to see it when it's done....
Did you know you're link doesn't work?
Yes, unfortunately.
This was the last of my sites I moved over to a new host, and I guess Yahoo (who I have had hosted my websites for many years) and the DNS server gods weren't happy about it. Internet limbo, right now. The site, I am not concerned about ... I am not taking anymore local custom/contract jobs, while we are selling our home, and it will only have the standard "Under Construction" until I am ready to take on clients. But, having e-mails bounced back to folks for the past week is just not cool.
Sorry, you didn't get to see the site. Ask any of the old-timers here ... it was pretty darn cool.
