Default HELP - need to make an embroidered logo into a vector design file

Hi i have this embroidered logo with me and i find it real tough to convert it to a graphic.. I need it to put it with designs m making.. pl help... need to get it done asap

yeah that's gonna be really hard... you would have to trace it in illustrator.

It definitely looks like a hand drawn Illustrator job. Is that some kind of seal (state, country). I am just wondering if you could pull a better image of at least the emblem part off the web somewhere.

Look at Vector Magic | Precision Bitmap to Vector Conversion Online and try to have the image traced from the scan that you already have.

it was an embroidered pic guys.. i tried all the options gave up and redrew the logo totally.. its for a sporting club ... thanks all of u guys.. atleast i know i am not bad at the work anyway.. ( i learnt the s/w all by myself)

I think when the guys said 'trace' it meant exactly what you did in this instance (manually 'trace' it in Illustrator with the pen tool).

For a newbie to Illustrator, the redraw was a good effort, but i think you should fine tune it a bit to get it perfect before you present it.

I know this is late, but next time you want to trace something, you may want to take a look at Inkscape. I don't use it for anything but tracing pics...

ummm.. i had actually made a few adjustments last night and deliverd it to the client.. he was pretty much satisfied ..cos he is goin to weave it out onto some ties he makes.. so thanks a lot..

Thanks a lot mike!! INKSCAPE really rocks .. i finished a new design for a fraction of the usual time it takes for these kinda things thru AI..
