Default Need help with Adobe Photoshop

Hi everyone! I'm new here!!!

I need help with a design I'm trying to make in adobe photoshop. What I want to do is put a flag inside a country's outline. For example, take Canada's country outline, and inside of it fill it with the Canadian flag. I've tried different things but since I'm new to all of this I need help!

I would appreciate anyone's input. Thanks!!!

There are a few ways you could accomplish this. First would be to make a layer mask in the shape of the country you're designing for, and the second may be layer blending styles.

I have some experience with Photoshop, but my specialty is 3d modeling, so I'd need to play with this a little to get it right.

An easy way to make a layer mask would be to either use your magic wand tool, and convert your selection to a mask, or, if your country design is on a clear background, just hold CTRL and click on your layer to select only opaque pixels, and again, convert your selection to a mask.

Those would be non-destructive ways of doing it.

Others with more Photoshop experience may be able to tell you a better way.

if you have it saved to a file you should beable to put up your country first then go to place when u click on that it will bring up your files and you would then just choose your flag pic you wanted, it will automaticly go in the center and you can move and adjust to where you would like it.
