Default I made a Gildan color pallette, try it out!!

I just set up X3 on my new computer and on a whim decided to make a Gildan color pallette. It's the brand I use most, but I might make more for other brands and some inks too. Let me know if it works worth a darn and If anyone has any to share, post 'em!

I'm not sure where you are supposed to place this but here's where mine is: C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Application Data\Corel\Graphics13\User Custom Data\Palettes\Gildan.cpl

Gildan.zip

An anvil one would be great!

I just installed this one. I can't believe this hasn't been done yet on here.

i was surprised too, hope they work for everyone.

they aren't hard to make just takes a little time. I used the eyedropper for most, used the cmyk values from gildan.com for a few and some were then tweaked a little by eye. there not perfect, but are great with advanced artist's comp generator to show your customers.

I know that Anvil actually has PMS colors on their site for their shirts.

gildan does too, but I wanted to get fancy and name them. i need to see how to make spot colors and name them. that's how I'll do an ink palette. (union, wilflex, etc.)

In X4, you can edit the pallet and change the name, and it stays a spot so you can still use it as a spot color in your seps.

Do you have to have Corel to open this file? cpl extension

I am not using really fancy software, and as far as I understand there isn't a current version being made anymore for Mac users. Is there another program I can open it with?

Mark, I posted a request for this in another thread. Also PM'd Fluid about the Hanes.cpl. I'll keep searching and post the results. Mike
