Default I printed this CMYK on Army Green (Thoughts?)

Take a look and let me know what you think of this design. I've designed it to look like a futuristic pin-up girl for a gaming clan locally. All feedback is welcome but please try and be nice.

Thanks all.

Wink Re: I printed this CMYK on Army Green (Thoughts?)

It's actually already been printed on Army Green Tee's. 4 Color Process, and it came out fantastic, I had to reduce down the Yellow Process Ink 25% in the girls flesh. Other than that, it came out great.

Anyone know how to print a predominately blue design (3 blues) using CMYK on Maroon. If I get this to work I'll post up and share the info.

Thanks

Tools Used:

Adobe Photoshop
Wilflex Easy Art 2
Epson 7600 film output
My sheer talent... and prayer.

Got any pictures of the printed shirt?

Cmyk was an unusual choice for printing this on darks.

Nice work..love to see it.

I will get a pic or two for you. I have one at home. Yea CMYK is becoming more and more the way for us to produce great shirts, spot process is our second option now. (VuRite) It seems that the garment has a bit of a different feel, a bit softer. I will try and get some pics of the shirt posted up here soon.

Thanks for the reply.

Thank Tx3, I pride myself on design work but more so my separation process. That's a science in itself.

The positive reply is well appreciated.

How close to the original art did the shirt print?

Looking forward to seeing a picture.

Not many people print cmyk on darks.

Best

Yea I can't find my shirt at home, ironically my career in the garment industry has made my closet, drawers and random tote boxes full of shirts. I'll dig through this weekend and see if I can't find it.

It actually came out very well. The one I'm really proud of is CMYK on black for a company in Kalispell Montana called "Sagebrush", that one came out fantastic.

I wanted to see how this shirt turned out. Were you ever able to find it?

Did you use a halftone white underbase then cmyk? I'd love to able to print cmyk on dark. Good work!

The design is using EA game bf2142 graphics and they would probably be chapped...lol...
... Cool design though... CB
