As I begin to be more experienced in using Adobe CS3 and I am begining to draw my designs out much more. I find that I like working on my designs both electronically and just plan paper. When not near my machine I am sketching designs out and sometimes find that I don't get similar aspects as the sketches I originally will do. It may be do to the fact I am not a pro when it comes to sketching or drawing using a mouse or trackball.
I have begun to think about purchasing a digital drawing pad so I can get both my mind in the state I am when I am sketching as well as giving my hands a more controlled feel and flow of working in CS3. I was wondering if any of you would like to comment and share your views of using a digital drawing pad. Pros, Cons and personal experiences. Also if anyone does use one please give me any suggestion what I should look for in one I may purchase.
Re: Digital Drawing Pad Pros, Cons, Own Experiences
I have two tablets...the older one is a Motion 1400 with view anywhere screen. It is like a big wacom...no keyboard or CD burner attached, but you can attach one if you like. The newer one is a Toshiba TC4200. This one is like a normal laptop with the screen that swivels and lays down flat over the keyboard if you want to draw like a wacom. and it does have a CD burner. Nice unit Both are full fledged computers with 1 gig ram and 80 hard drive

we have the smallest wacom and it is great. my ability to work with it out of the box was instant and i now use it instead of the mouse for just about everything.
