Default Printing transparencies - ink does not stick to vellum?

Hi, I'm trying to print my separations on some vellum using an Epson Stylus 1280. I'm not sure if I'm using the correct settings and/or ink, because they aren't coming out well at all. It looks like the ink isn't sticking to the vellum because the edges of each printed shape are coming out blurry, almost as if the ink is pulling away or bleeding from where it's supposed to be.

Any thoughts? Am I supposed to use special ink for this?

Thanks!
Aaron

I Know Dye Based Inks Work Better Than Pigment Inks. Not Sure What Kind You Have. Not Sure What Kind Of Paper It Is, But I Know My Film Can Only Be Printed On One Side. Have You Tried Printing On Both Sides Of Your Paper. Last But Not Least What Does Your Artwork Look Like. Is It Vector With Sharp Lines. Or A Bitmap/raster Image. This might Also Affect Your Films

ohhh, that explains it lol - this is an inkjet. Thanks guys, I'll get some real transparencies and try again (and make sure I'm printing on the right side too).
