Ok... I'm launching my website this late summer and to be honest with you I'm not sure how it will turn out. I've put in my time designing and now until it starts I've been trying to learn as much as possible here. Luckily I have a great job to jump into something like this for a hobby. Though I'm taking this serious I don't need it to feed the family. Of course I would like to be successful like everyone else.

My questions for those who are succesful and it being your source of income, How did it happen to you?

Did you have a unique niche that makes you special? Did you develop a killer brand? Was it your marketing ability? Obviously its probobly all of the above. Just curious that's all... When did you know you could quit your normal 9-5 gig and have the courage to trust your start up business? How much money was coming in to make you sit back and relax?

Sorry about these questions... I'm such a newbie that would love to sit down with a professional and just LEARN

Hi!
One of the most important lessons I have learned is one must have PASSION to run the business. Business is like peaks and troughs, ups and downs. When its up, ok, its up--good. But when its down, which will happen someday or the other, its the passion that will drive you. If you love what you do, that will make you successful because when you are at the saddest point in your life, you still have something to work on because you have passion in doing it.
