hard to tell without feeling the garment....could be DTG or contour cutting a transfer with a vinyl cutter...

Thanks Charles, the image has a very heavy hand to it, almost feels like vinyl.

Sorry Fred, can't find our magnifying glass. Would screen printing leave a small semi transparent 1/8th of an inch out line around each letter? The outline is visible in the photo.
Thanks, Mike

If there is a small outline that is transparent it sounds like it is some type of transfered material and not directly printed.

Bobbie, I tend to agree with you it does seem to be a transfer of some kind I'm just not sure of the type of material.

Looking at it closely it looks to me like a opaque transfer cut with a plotter maybe.

What threw me is the thickness of it. Not a puff, somewhere in between. I'd really like to duplicate the style, I think it looks really cool despite the heavy hand to it.

that is a heat transfer made by air waves inc. on the right hand corner it says airwave they have alot of different ones in stock. ive delbt with them before they have great customer service. as far as how they make it if im not mistaken from what one of there reps. told me is that they are Screen printed with a special puff ink.

oh yeah and its not process printing they have a giant printer that prints a whole lot more than 4 colors.

Check em out they have good prices

Sounds great Josh, thanks for the info. I'll check it out.
Good luck, Mike
P.S. I must need better glasses, I totally missed Airwaves on the transfer. I feel like a dope.

Hi Mike,

In my own language BOH? could mean just guessing. But anyway I really like that design and I,m glad that you found out who makes it.

cheers.
