 illustrator to corel stroke problems
Hi, I'm only new to vector based drawing and vinyl cutting and i'm having some basic problems.
1. the cutter only recognizes corel eps files, but i only have access to illustrator when designing so i have to import all illustrator files into corel, then copy them again into magicut! This seems like a hard way around. does anyone know if there is an easier way?
2. i have been trying to create the logo on the left in illustrator, but when i try to cut it in magicut it is not recognizing the border around the outside and filling the whole image. I am using the "outline stroke" in illustrator but it won't create the border...the text on its own works so i must not be doing something correct to the stroke in illustrator. can anyone help?
just generally has anyone got any advice on preparing illustrator eps files for a vinyl cutter? |
