Default images not lining up when film is printed

Hi
I use illustrator CS3 and is having some trouble with a basic 2 colour circle image

basically its a pink circle 27cm wide with another circle inside which has a black stroke of about 20pt and black text inside the image,
when I go to print the films out and reg it up its completely out, its like the inner circle is slightly off, almost like it isn't circle, and their is a slight gap around the black text,Ive heard about trapping, how do i do this in illustrator.
is their any settings i need to do in the print options? the offset option is set to 0.22 cm or is it something to do with the printer on why it isn't lining up.

im really confused on what is happening ive looked at my settings and doesn't understand how to correct this.

Hope I make sense
can anyone please advise.

Thanks

What kind of printer are you using? A laser printer heats the toner on the paper, and you may have a shrinkage issue, and not the Seinfeld kind. You could try running your vellum (if that's what you're printing to) through the printer by printing a blank page first and pre shrinking the paper. There are about a thousand other answers, but I'm guessing that's your problem. IF you're using a laser printer.
