Default Gradient Effect with Vinyl

Has anybody had success in trying to get a gradient/halftone look with vinyl?

I am trying to do different techniques to achieve this. Although it would be for personal use only because it is very time consuming to weed, I think it came out pretty nice. Please feel free to give comments, suggestions and other techniques. Thanks

Very nice effect, and that gives me lots of ideas too!
I can sure see why you'd say that it'd be for personal use only... heheh
Maybe done on a slightly larger scale would make it easier to weed, when and if that time comes, but still get the same overall effect.

I'm impressed!

That was pretty cool, I couldn't figure out how to do that till this past summer. I always used bond all on the vinyl peice that I chose then I just airbrushed the greys and darks on the vinyl and then I heat pressed all of it together on the shirt came out pretty good.

It took me about 20 to 25 minutes to weed. I just figured out a way to weed in about 5 to 10. I will try to explain the easier way after i post some pictures of it. (I say "try" because I am not very good at giving directions). Thanks for your comments. will keep you posted.

Looks good. I've often thought about this myself. Even using a halftone dot pattern. Just for fun, as it would be a pain to weed.

Hey I am a newb with Corel and was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction for this type of effect.I have poked around about a week off and on and have not been very sucessful.I tried making my own fill but it did not turn out, there was no way of graduating it over a given space and having it look very good.

Thanks
Curtis
