How can I change a word doc(graphics) into a tiff file?
Hi,
I need to change my design which is saved in Word to a higher resolution file like a Tiff. does anyone know how I can do this without re-writting the file?

Can you export as PDF? This has been my solution to folks that insist on using a text program for graphics. Open it in Illustrator or Photoshop and have at it. Text can often still be used as text in Ill...
ImageIt is correct. Save as file when printing to a postscript printer driver works also.

Thanks for your answers. Wish I illustrator but I don't yet. I can't export as a PDF either. I'll have to wait for the college kids to come home in a few days!

If you can create the ".ps" file like Fred mentioned, you can usually open that in Photoshop (only one page though). There might be some free programs on the web that will help you create PDF files. Also, if you are using Windows, they call them ".prn" files.

Hi,
I used the PDF from Docudesk.com. Then followed the suggestions from Imageit in a previous post. There were alot of instructions so please refer back. I'd be happy to help teach but I don't have this mastered yet. I'll post instructions when I do. Good Luck!

Anyone still using Microsoft Office, should really look into Openoffice. It's just as good, and it's FREE. You can export any word document directly to PDF. OpenOffice.org: Home
Another option is PDFcreator. No learning curve. You install it, it shows up in your printers. You select "print" and pick PDfcreator. It then prints it to a file on your computer. SourceForge.net: PDFCreator
