Hello,
I'm working in Adobe Illustrator 10. I want to save some money and not have the printer set up the color separations for my T-Shirts. Does anyone know if I can create color separations in Illustrator 10 to send off to the printer and how to do it? Need help please. It's four colors.

if by "printer" you mean your screen printer, you can set up your artwork using spot colors in illy and give him that file. he should be able to output to film very easily and not charge you for separations.

choose the colors for you design from Windows>Swatch Libraries>Pantone solid coated or change the color properties from cmyk to spot color by double clicking the swatch in your color pallet.

as long as you stick to these colors, seps are a breeze from illy.
